Dr. Pam Thomas

Services: Vision and Eye Health Exams, Contact Lenses, Fashion Eyewear, Eye Disease Treatment, and Laser Vision Correction Management

Education: Southwestern College of Kansas, B.S. in biology and chemistry. Northeastern State University College of Optometry: Doctor of Optometry. Residency; West Los Angeles VA Medical Center, Primary Care Optometry and Geriatric Optometry. The Doctor of Optometry degree is a 4 year degree after undergraduate college. Residencies in optometry are not required, but are voluntarily undertaken to receive a higher level of education/competence in an area.

Mission: “We are dedicated to providing comprehensive vision and eye health care, including eye disease treatment, contact lenses, glasses and low vision rehabilitation in a warm professional environment. We are committed to the highest ethical standards, advanced instrumentation and the enjoyment of nurturing the long-term relationships with each of our patients and their families.”

What sets you apart? “Our commitment to taking time with each of our patients – time to get to know how you use your eyes and vision in your career and in your hobbies, and time to listen to the concerns you have about your vision and your eye health. We prefer to get to know our patients, and to treat them as we would our family. We plan on nurturing a long relationship with each patient.”

Alaina Medvetz, O.D.

Dr. Alaina Medvetz is a Board-Certified Optometric Physician. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Central Florida. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree with Honors in Clinical/Primary Care and Pediatrics from Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Medvetz completed her clinical externships at the Orlando VA and at the Manatee County Rural Health Service, obtaining extensive training in ocular disease. In 2018, Dr. Medvetz joined the doctors at Eye Associates of Winter Park.

Doctor Medvetz is an active member of the American Optometric Association, Florida Optometric Association, and Central Florida Society of Optometric Physicians.

Dr. Medvetz sees patients of all ages, but her special interests are specialty contact lenses, ocular disease, dry eye management and pediatrics. She has already developed a reputation for her diagnostic skills while providing kind and thorough care of her patients.

Doctor Medvetz is a Florida native, having grown up in the Tampa Bay area. She enjoys running, recreational shooting, music, and college football. Go Knights!

Dr. Eliana Pelfrey

Dr. Eliana Pelfrey, a Texas native, received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Health Science with a minor in Biology from Baylor University. She graduated cum laude from UIW Rosenberg School of Optometry in 2021 where she received her Doctor of Optometry degree. Additionally, she was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometry Honor Society and Leadership and Honors program.

Dr. Pelfrey completed her clinical externships at Golden Eye Care and Alamo Eye Care where she obtained extensive training in her special interests including: dry eye, ocular disease, specialty contact lenses, and myopia control.

Aside from spending time with friends and family, Dr. Pelfrey enjoys hiking, traveling, and exploring new restaurants.

Dr. Jessica Guerra

Dr. Jessica Guerra, AuD, FAAA, ABA-C is originally from Yorba Linda, CA and previously worked for Kaiser Permanente for 2 years. She received her Bachelor of Arts at Baylor University followed by her doctorate at University of the Pacific. She is licensed by the state of Texas to practice audiology and fit hearing aids. She enjoys cheering on the Baylor Bears, especially during football season, and traveling with her husband.
